Barely Runs on MacBook

Even on the lowest setting, ToMI runs like molasses going uphill in January... on crutches! I think it might be my macbook's spec, because it runs darn well near perfect on my older iMac on a higher setting. Should it be able to run at full speed on my MacBook?

OS X 10.5.8
Intel Core Duo
2.16 GHz Processor
1 GB of Memory
Also, I have about 12 GB of space left on my HD, which I can easily clear up. I also have an external hard drive with about 400 GB.

    Your MacBook (mid-2007 model) has a GMA950 integrated graphics adapter. This will not run the game very well at all, and is not recommended. Sorry...

    Thanks for the offer, but I can still run this (practically perfectly) on my XP partition and my iMac and also, it was a gift.
