Probably obvious, but I'm oblivious.

Can someone link me a to a page where I can download unofficial graphics drivers for my crappy laptop with windows xp?

I used to game a lot, and I haven't for a while, so I don't know where to look for them. I just need something to give the little guy a boost. I'm willing to take a risk on it, since I don't use that computer anymore anyway.

Anyway, thanks in advance for the help.

EDIT: I'm trying to play Monkey Island, but when I open it, the menu is a black background. I can click around a little but it's ultra slow.

Seriously, if your computer can't run Monkey Island, just destroy it now.

If you mean TOMI, that's fine, but if you can't run the first one.....

Well, could you give us a few specs? Your graphics drivers don't matter if your computer is running on something like 32 MB of ram.

I had same prob I had to get a laptop to play it

Oh, Tales of Monkey Island. I'm still fine up until that one. The laptop's bad, but it's not steam-powered or anything.

I've got the 32MB. I'm not sure what's doing it then.
I open the game, and the music comes in, but the only thing on the screen is the text. It's just a black background.
I started a new game, and i could see some shapes, but just black outlines, and no textures.

Incidentally, the first thing I looked for in all that was your pc's make and model (Dell Precision M60,) after which I googled it for these specs:

    http://www.dell.com/downloads/us/products/precn/wsm60_spec.pdf
    Dell Precison M60
    -Processors . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Intel® Pentium® M processors

Odd that Dell's website has different video card specs and drivers than your pc's internal specs show.

Anyways, nVidia seems to have proper drivers. Go here to download them:
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71_2.html

Also, you might should upgrade your RAM. It may not be absolutely required, but it helps. Crucial.com says your machine can hold up to 2GB of RAM, 1GB per slot.

    GeForce 4....

Maybe you should get a graphics card that isn't 8 years old. GeForce 4 can't support Pixel shaders.

I mean come on! That graphics card is eight years old! Of course it isn't working well!

Yeah, it's my old computer. I think the video card is integrated, which is part of the problem.

I'll either find some other way or give up. Haha.

So did you try the newer drivers yet? (the ones from that nVidia link)
