Another question for Telltale
Hey Telltale!
I was wondering, in what ways do you spend time/money marketing your games? I admit that I don't currently subscribe to or buy a video game magazine, though when I do, it's because I bought a game from GameStop and they renewed my Game Informer subscription.
I do understand that some mediums used in marketing are incredibly expensive (eg. TV commercials,) and are therefore more risky to use. On the other hand, some things (in general, not just games) may be considered by many as really cool, but never did well because the marketing for such products was lacking.
I'm just curious to know what sort of efforts Telltale uses to get the word out about their products, and which of those they feel is most cost-effective.

From what I've seen (and participated in) we focus on internet based marketing mainly through press sites, web affiliates and some banner ads. Internet is naturally pretty cheap, when you consider that it's mostly effort based instead of money, but I am the community intern, not the marketing one, so this is the extent of my knowledge.
