Macs with integrated Graphics

edited March 2010 in Game Support
Alright can someone explain something to me...I have a macbook pro OSX 10.6.2 2.16 ghz Intel core 2 duo...with a RadeonX1600 graphics card....under the system requirements for mac it says that Monkey Island is not recommended for macs with integrated graphics...but dont all apples come with integrated graphics? I know the new macbook pros do... and if thats true then what apples do these games work on??? By the way my issue is that that games starts fine but freezes during gameplay and i have to shutdown and restart the computer. Thanks in advance!

Your Mac's integrated graphics are an option. Since you have a dedicated graphics card, you should be set. But the option is there to switch to integrated graphics mode if you want (I think it saves battery life), it's just not good for graphics-heavy games.

I'm not 100% sure on this since I don't actually have a laptop, but I hope that helps.
