101 : Culture Shock

Hello,

I just started playing Sam and Max Season 1, and I noticed a graphical problem - soon as I exited their office there seems to be a problem with the backgrounds/textures, as they are all a myriad of funky looking colours... its a little distracting, and makes everything look off..

Is there a simple way to fix this?

BTW, I just downloaded the newest version from the website and installed it, so I'm not running an older version

    Have you tried updating your graphics card drivers?

    A dxdiag log can be helpful here too.

    dxdiag
    Windows XP: Go to your start menu and click on run. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter
    Windows Vista / 7: Press the windows key on your keyboard or click on the start menu. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter.

    Now click on the button that says "save all information".
    It will prompt you to save a file. Save it where you can find it.

    Then zip the file and attach it to a reply in this Thread.

    BTW, I've experienced absolutely no problems when playing any of the TMI episodes.

    It is a Parallels Issue. I don't know if updating it helps.

    Are you playing on a mac?

    Yea...

    I guess my other question is... will SNM Season 1 and 2 be available directly for Mac before Season 3 starts??? (hint) (hint)

    I haven't seen an official answer to that. Your best option for now is probably Bootcamp. It will also be better performance wise.

    Season 1 definitely will not, but I can't say for sure about Season 2.
