Is that a portmanteau of "adorable" and "quadrangle"? I choose to believe that it is.

    In retrospect.
    Yes.

    It totally is.
  • edited April 2010
It pretty much went without saying but I thought I'd ask anyway.
  • edited April 2010
I say it's a portmanteau of adorable and argyle. Nikki slipped! She still loves him!

I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT!!

I can see a Telltale representative posting a thread any day now stating that Telltale have officially resigned from making games for us because we're just too strange.

    Until then, though:

Hey guys, we loved the entries and are gonna do some review of them in the Web Pit when some of our dudes are back, maybe awarding them tomorrow, on Telltale Tuesday! Apt? Yes.

    Thanks for the patience!

What's the Web Pit and, more importantly, when do they (your dudes) come back?

    What's the Web Pit

    It's either
    1) a mystical place where web designers perform dances, chants and sacrifices
    or
    2) a huge hole where web developers reside in fear of deadlines
  • edited April 2010
    or
    3) a mix between a sarlacc pit and a pit of GIANT SPIDERS! With THROWING STARS.

So awesome! We'll get to gifting in the next few days but it's all launch-a-riffic stuff right now so there's a queue.
  • edited April 2010
So I got a question... those of us that didnt win or get mentioned .. is our stuff not getting used at all?
  • nikasaurnikasaur Telltale Alumni
    edited April 2010
If it becomes appropriate, maybe. We picked the ones we're most likely to use.
  • edited April 2010
cries...... I actually didn't care about winning a prize I just wanted to be used for the site... Oh well.

Yay! I'm so happy about being runner up! Congrats to all other winners and runner ups! I'm amazed that Irishmile didn't win though... perhaps he's just too good!
  • edited April 2010
you flatter me.... I guess they wanted things they could tie in with individual contest themes... I really doubt its because I am too good... I am just an amateur... I actually just work at a restaurant for a living, so my stuff probably lacks some things that people who know what they are doing can spot right away.

I think that the winners deserved to win, they had some pretty awesome submissions....

I hope that TTG do more stuff like this in the future so I can try harder and maybe get something on the site just yet.

besides I do not mind I did get a cool ribbon and some signatures from TTG for the unofficial photoshop thing.
  • edited April 2010
I checked out your art. There is no way that you are an amateur.

What unofficial photoshop thing... I wanna see!

Oh, deary me... this made me laugh like a human male audibly expressing happiness or amusement through constriction of the larynx by the epiglottis

Also, hooray on running up. I've never ran up to anything before.

do these coupons expire? what if I want to use them for the next series?
  • nikasaurnikasaur Telltale Alumni
    edited April 2010
Coupons are good until I say they're not good. At some point I'll probably have a reminder to all who haven't used them to snatch 'em up quickly, and start a new set of coupons then.

    TBD.

I know this competition is long, long over, but I wanted to have a bit of fun. It's not the greatest thing in the world, but it kept me entertained for an evening. I took the hidden people direct off the site, but did the wording and drew Nelson Tethers free hand (you can probably tell!) using what help I could from the screenshots released. I have no idea if that is what Nelsons shoes look like. There is currently no picture of them, so sorry if I got it wrong.
  • edited May 2010
I like it, but saving it as a jpg really brought down the image quality.
  • edited May 2010
It's actually a bmp and a png (I saved two formats), but I'll be danged if I know how to upload it as one. Every time I say upload it turns into a jpg automatically. Am I doing it wrong?

You can try uploading the png to either TinyPic or ImageShack. I think your entry, regardless of image quality, is superb! You captured a great expression on Tethers (shoes look good, too) and the Hidden People popping up from the text is a neat touch.
