Anyone who throws stuff at cars for a prank should be shot.

My wife and I were driving home from the gym tonight, and someone in the oncoming traffic threw an egg at our car and hit us in the windshield. The car is fine. We cleaned it off with Basic-H when we got home, but whoever threw that at us... I want to rip their lungs out.

When I lived in Liverpool kids used to hurl bricks at car windows. Trust me, you'd pine for the days of the eggs after that

Eggs WILL take the paint off a car so make sure you got it all off.

    I did. Thankfully.

Someone put barbecue sauce all over my car once, back when I had no license and it was my parents' car.

Since the car came into my ownership, the worst that's happened to it was my sister's friend's prank last year. She took 10 sticky notes, wrote one letter on each of them to spell "April Fools", stuck each note into a condom, blew all the condoms into balloons, then stuck them in a row in my car's luggage rack. I still owe her for that.

My sister had a rock thrown at her brand new car several weeks ago. Dented the passenger door very badly. It really frightened her and made her very angry afterward. People who throw things at cars are complete inconsiderate morons, they just ignore the fact that someone owns that car, has paid for it with the money they've earned, and that they're going to have to pay for the damage caused. And those who throw objects such as rocks and bricks at cars don't even acknowledge that there's actually a person inside the cars - hurling things at cars can result in deaths, not so much eggs, but for bricks and rocks yes.

Edit: If you throw an object such as an egg at a car, you should have one hand cut off. If you throw a more solid and dangerous objects at a car, you should have both hands cut off.

Lol, I remember last summer I cut the breaks of a Ford Fiesta and watched as the family got in it a few hours later and died. It was hella funny. All in good fun though.

Uhh, lets keep this on topic, please.

It's not on topic? How is that not on topic?

Besides, if you've been around for near 1500 posts, you should know that we rarely stay on topic for a long time, but who cares? If we wander too far for too long, the mods will just split it into a new thread.

One time someone shot paint from a paintball gun on to my car. :| I freaked out because the impact was very loud and I don't even want to talk about what happened afterwards.

Exactly. And most of these people will only get charged with manslaughter at the worst, but I think that if you actually kill someone by throwing a dangerous object at their car then you should be charged with murder.

    Edit:
Woops, didn't see the final sentence (no pun intended):

"...A similar incident in 1991 in Ulster County, in which a 52-pound rock was thrown from a Gov. Thomas E. Dewey Thruway overpass near New Paltz, resulted in a conviction of second-degree murder..."
