(S3E1) Sam & Max Graphics Problems

edited April 2010 in Game Support
Im having some graphics problems with the PC version of the game.
For instance max's eyes dont show up and if they do its not completely there.
And skunkape's ship is not completely there.
I bought it from Steam.
I have a Windows XP.
And I have Radeon 9250.

First and foremost, could you try updating your drivers?

The Radeon 9200 series also caused trouble with Tales of Monkey Island.
    Might be the same issue.

Can you post a dxdiag log?

    dxdiag
Windows XP: Go to your start menu and click on run. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter
Windows Vista / 7: Press the windows key on your keyboard or click on the start menu. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter.

Now click on the button that says "save all information".
It will prompt you to save a file. Save it where you can find it.

Then zip the file and attach it to a reply in this Thread.

The latest ATI driver is from 2006. You can give the Omega Drivers a try though.

If it doesn't work either your best option is a different graphics card. There are still new AGP cards available, or you can ask your friends if someone still has one lying around that's less than 4 years old.

Alright. KK just downloaded. I hope it works.
The omega drivers just made it worse. :(

I fear than there are not many options left. You can ask support for a refund, or upgrade your graphics card.

You can try using ATI Mobility Modder to make the newest legacy ATI drivers work with your machine - it's even mentioned by ATI's driver packager on his Twitter account every now and then...
