Things to do in Max's mind and other fun things!

edited May 2010 in Sam & Max
Hello all, there have been many "Did you try" lists in the past; but this list is the first "Have you used your Psychic Powers" list. This list tells exactly how and when and why to use your psychic powers, even if it's teleportation. Things will also include soon are the crossovers that you can see in Max's mind and I have already added The Power List which includes a Narrator like voice-over in the text.
For future Episode(s), go here:
The Tomb of Sammun-Mak

Spoilers below!

Psychic Powers:
Deck of Cards = Mind Reading: This ability is unique and is quite usefull against enemies who are planning to destroy you. When used you may view a person's most inner thoughts.
Telephone = Teleportation: When used, you can teleport to any location that has a phone. If you have memorized that number that is.
3D Viewmaster (The Eyes of Yog-Saggoth) = Future Vision: This power is one of the far of most powerful Toys that you can unlock; when used you may view certain parts of the future.
Rhinoplasty = Shapeshifting: This innocent hunk of clay is actually the key to transforming into an innanimate object. To use, smear the clay on a picture of an object and then transform into that object.
Nutrition Specs = Organic X-Ray: Allows you to see hidden objects and view the health of people around you.

Just to clarify this one, I think splash means twice before AND twice after, bringing the total up to four.

Actually, it's either twice before you read Harry's mind or once before and once after. There are only two different lines Sam will say (or think), one with a hint telling you to read Harry's mind and one where he sings.

When on the lower level of Skun-ka'pe's ship, you really ought to use the mind reading on Sam THREE times. Twice before reading Harry Moleman's mind and once after.

(And then do it again once you've reached the upper deck.)

Also, don't knock Robby. Awesome robot is awesome. He can make alcohol in his torso compartment, for goodness sake! That robot on Lost in Space only WISHES he could do that.

Nutrion Specs = ????: Not Currently Available.

They allow you to see what people/things are made of (Or so I have heard)
  • edited April 2010
All this time I thought they were called nutrition specs. But who wouldn't want the power to see the nutrition information on unlabelled food products.

I don't want to be attacked by an angry mob when I make that answer... So my mouth is closed.

You forgot the COPS as a teleporting option.

In Future Vision mode, you can see a stack of pies (Wallace and Gromit: Muzzled!) next to Harry Moleman in Momma Bosco's Lab.

I'm not sure if this is off-topic but, did anyone try to exit out of a shape Max morphed into? [Rhinoplasty]

There's a little floating Max in the toy selector wheel... Awesome!

Yeah. That alone makes me believe we haven't seen the last of that power.
