Oooh! I love cosplaying, even though I'm not very good at it. I think I have a picture of my L cosplay around somewhere(I just had to do it for the free candy)... and I have my Dr. Stein bolt-through-the head prop nearly finished (just needs a bit of paint).
Damn, that reminds me, I need to get a fez and sunglasses for next year. Also, my friend got me a boater hat, so I need to get a bowler and a top hat so I can make the Towering Pillar of Hats.
Niiice, I had plans to do a P4 Cosplay as Chie with a friend who was going to go as Kanji, but that....fell through. I'd like a chance to do it in the future though.
For NDK this year, I'm planning on improving my Spy costume, attempting DiZ from Kingdom Hearts, and maybe doing the merchant from Resident Evil 4 if I have time after that.
same friend who did sniper in the previous pic. i helped make her mask.
she made borscht. it was delicious.
That's a interesting picture, especially with the mesmerising carpet. It would be interesting to watch a docu about the people who invent and agree on these patterns, the psychology behind it, those who buy it, those who have to install it, what the guests are thinking about it and how they end up once they are replaced.
Or build the base for one of those famous three part TTG riddles where Sam&Max learn about the teleport abilities of certain carpet patterns. Now they need to find out about which patterns are located where, how to access those rooms/areas and get an opportunity to cut them out. Or you build your own game around Marvin the carpet cutter who portals himself into different worlds by arranging the right patterns. Could work well for a platformer as well as an adventure. And so on...
I've got some other games prizes as well (the Humble Indie Bundle 2, Zeno Clash, Plants Vs Zombies and the first Portal). You can win those by dressing up, or by helping me find existing photos of the characters on the bounty. If Telltale fans don't know where to find pics of people dressed as Stinky, Winslow, Morgan LeFlay and Prince Alexander (among other adventure game characters on the list) then I don't think they'll ever get found.
I hope this doesn't come across as spammy. This isn't a commercial contest, just my own private attempt to see some of my favorite characters cosplayed. I was getting puzzled that I hadn't seen any pics of Girl Stinky costumes (I look through a lot of cosplay pics, here's proof) and I figured people might dress up as the characters I want if I offered them games in return.
My hair should actually be pretty great (it looks reasonably cartoonish even on a normal day) but I just wanted to show off the shirt at the moment. I will definitely have epic sideburns I can promise you that.

Sir, you win. Take many photos at PAX and post'em all here.
Thanks! I certainly will. I'll have somebody with me as Gabe so that should be awesome.
The other reason I've avoided showing my head in this thread is because I'm still growing out my beard, for my other costume. I'm basically planning on shaving my beard off either Friday night or Saturday night to switch looks.
Okay I promised you some pictures, here are some pictures. I only had this costume on for Sunday (I was dressed as Atrus on Saturday, pictures over there)
I seem to remember a discussion of epic hair?
Me and my friend Gabe:
These girls were awesome. Saw them dressed as regular Gabe and Tycho on Friday or Saturday, and it was cool to see them dressed as the Precipice versions on Sunday, so we had some cool contrast.
I really enjoyed the fact that they clearly spent hours perfecting the hair for these characters, whereas I basically accomplished my effect by waking up and not combing it.
I was really hoping we'd be able to get a picture with the four of us with the real Mike and Jerry, it would have been like Crisis on Infinite Earths. Maybe next year.
YESSS that's totally a great Tycho, my friend. It's just perfect. Gabe also looks awesome except, well, black hair, but oh well. His quirky facial expression there totally makes up for it.
Those girls also look pretty awesome! I always loved OtR-SPoD designs and they SO nailed it. Kudos for chest hair on Gabriel!
I think if I ever manage to go to PAX, I'm going to have to finally do that Cardboard Tube Samurai costume I've been thinking about for years. I even have the perfect tube. Nice and thick, nice and sturdy.
I also got a good one -not as long, but still- from Telltale actually. The Devil's Playhouse print was rolled and put into that. Still keeping it for a possible zombie apocalypse. Or I can order another print so that I can glue them and make the perfect cardboard tube. It's more of a buster-sword rather than a katana, though
I ordered this Battlestar Galactica uniform for fairly cheap so I could get the important parts right myself. I still need to replace the piping, the shoulders and the buttons, but I have a screen accurate badge and rank pins affixed. Still... Long way to go.
For the record; here is someone who did it much better...
Please note that mine isn't really this shitty in comparison - it's just that my camera and the rather harsh lighting of my room make it look worse than it actually is.
Yes, I know I should iron it. I'm shit at ironing. I think the main fabric is a poly/cotton blend, but I have no idea what the shoulders are. I know they used suede for the TV uniforms, though.
A not-very-good picture of an Edward Elric cosplay I did a few years ago that I just found. I really wish I had a pic of the whole ensemble. For one thing, I had elevator boots!
I could probably do a better job of this now that I have few qualms about giving myself shorter bangs. And now that I have a six foot roll of polystyrene that is just begging to be made into a robot arm.

Until my health improves, I just look at the cosplay of others.
Me on the far left.
And inside the folder:
You have no idea how hard these were to do with my barely existent Photoshop skills.
And my props:
And the Halloween photo shoot:
Again, I'm on the far left.
More/higher res photos here.
picture of some friends at a new years party casual tf2 cosplay
And I like the watermelon apron.
same friend who did sniper in the previous pic. i helped make her mask.

Here's a new look I'm working on for PAX East:
Still need to add the stripes to the shirt and then I'll be just about set
Hold the phone, you've done Persona cosplay? Sweet, which character?
Ha, I knew it when you posted the watch as the last item you purchased. Awesome.
Naoto Shirogane. Although, I used the same clothes sans the hat with a silver wig and done the Protagonist, too.
Cosplaying is cool.
Unfortunately I couldn't find an appropriate wig, so I stayed blonde and short haired.
I guess I'll add to the valve theme going on XD

Cosplay Bounty: Dress Like a Fool, Win Portal 2! Just dress up as some of my favorite characters and you could win.

This will be fun at PAX
Blown. Would be cool to see some awesome hairdo (and those manly side whiskers) with that while you're at it but I guess you didn't work on that.

Just hope that he doesn't kill you for that nice watch you're wearing.
While I'm commenting, though, I have this cosplay from last year.
That's me on the right.
