Naughty Bear

edited June 2010 in General Chat
I imagine most of you have heard of Naughty Bear. If you don't let me explaine. Naughty Bear is a psychopathic teddy bear hell bent on revenge. When he does not get invited to a party he decides to kill every single bear on the island. Thats basically the main idea of the game. It looks awsome. You have to see this game. Its a violent game with no blood and gore just the stuffing of teddy bears. If you do not understand any of this just watch this video:

I wouldn't be so sure of that

It's a slasher movie without the big selling point OF a slasher movie. Excuse me, I have to pick my jaw off the floor.

I'm planning to get a PS3 this christmas (Along with LBP and 3D Dot Game Heroes), maybe I should add it to the list?

    You mean the pedo bear?

    True.

No PC version = no way I've ever heard of (or would play) it.

I saw some videos for this.... im pretty sure the novelty of it would wear off after about 20 minutes

But those would be an amazing twenty minutes. I love how the music is so cheery--it adds to the weirdness of it all.

    I heard of it ..

And I really like it ..

If you have not seen any gameplay then here it is.

It is a highly anticipated game. Now i have liked the games that telltale have made but this is better by miles. At least the creators of this can actual release it on consoles people want to see on and they can make games buyable in the shops. That is telltales downfall. Naughty Bear is going to be the best cartoon violent game of the year. Better than telltale.

Here is a list of games made by Artificial Mind and Movement, the developer of Naughty Bear.

A long list, to be sure, but is there ONE game on there that has received any acclaim at all?

I'm not holding my breath for Naughty Bear to be the streak breaker of mediocrity.

My fanboy scanner is off the charts! Can't... contain it!

Seriously W&G we get it, you like the game, calm down.

Personally I think it looks interesting but I'm not in any rush to buy it.

I am so not interested in this game. First it would break my heart to be mean like that. Plus, I'd rather be naughty in real life.

    ...

Completely different games, completely different distribution models. You're really reaching to find something to criticize here.

I've never heard of this game before, probably never will again. It seems pretty forgettable to me.

I heard they had a game designer named Pillock... (careful - Yahtzee's language in that one isn't quite SFW, as usual...)

I'm not sure what to think of it, I was interested but after seeing the gameplay I just know I'll get bord of it, no real point in me getting it, might rent it out but it's not a buy.

I saw this as an upcoming title and it reminded me of Conker's. I was going to wait to hear more about it after it came out because it looked like they wanted to make Conker's but decided to hold back and the reason Conker's has the following it does is because they didn't hold back.

This game sounds okay, but it looks like a game where you play it for an hour and then get so bored that your brain explodes so you stop and go play a 16 bit adventure game on Dos-Box.
