trying to use a 360 controller on my PC

everything works fine but the a Button brings up the notepad (this is Season 3 we are talking about) and when ever i need it to check something or talk to someone it brings up the notepad anyone else have this problem? :confused:

    I used a 360 controller and had no problems whatsoever with it.

    do you need to be close to an object or far away from it or what because even when it said "Press A to Do this" it went to the notepad
