Sam&Max302 - Bug, skipped a puzzle?

I'm currently playing reel 2 ("in the tomb"). Immediately after talking to Jurgen below the ledge where the bust is, I used the can. After popping out, sam & max somehow wound up on the ledge (above Jurgen!).

Now I seem to be stuck without a way to get from the ledge back down to the toybox area.

Is this a bug?

    definitely sounds like it. In order for that ledge to be accessible, you needed to have
    pulled the lever thingy to the right of jurgen
    and if you hadn't done that, but appeared on the ledge, then I'm pretty sure the area you've come from has been rendered inacessible. This may not be game breaking actually. I think the next few steps do not need that area, and then you come across
    a secret passageway by the symbols that takes you back to the jurgen ledge

    hey thanks! found a workaround: using the can of nuts again
    above the same place on the ledge that caused the bug gives me brief access to the lever and a way out
    .
