Am I the only one that this Girl Genius strip reminds of some particular gags from Season 2?

What, the bizarre terms she uses to call in the orders? That's an actual trait often found in small-town roadside diners in the U.S. (maybe elsewhere?), especially the southern states. It's often exaggerated for comic effect in television and other media.

I wish I could show you other examples, but I don't really know if there's a term for that sort of thing so I could look it up.
