I need a name

An idea came to me a few nights ago as I was trying to get to sleep.

It was for an adventure game involving Cthulhu. I have the entire thing planned out in my head, and It's going to be very silly.

So I need a name that is equally silly. My first though was "The Call Waiting of Cthulhu" making fun of the title of the original story, but I thought that was pretty crappy.

any ideas?


By the way, I can not guarantee that this will ever come out in any form. I just think it's a fun idea. My plans for college may make this a reality some day, but that may take a long time.

EDIT: I forgot to mention the name of the protagonist, The oddly named "Ranger Newman." I wanted an odd name for a character a while ago, came up with that, and look where he is now, battling Great Old Ones

    Well Let me try this. As I said, I have it planned out. but I have done almost none of the research I would need to do to make this make sense yet.

    Ranger Newman finds the Cult of Cthulhu, and hears their chant of "Cthulhu Fhtagn". He, of course, wonders what the heck they are talking about, and as they don't seem to be able to say anything but the chant, he has to research this himself. He finds the translation and assumes that it means that the cult is trying to summon him.

    So Ranger and his (Lets say for now) Twin Brother set off to try to stop this, and the boneheads manage to summon Cthulhu themselves before ultimately banishing him once more.

    I really like the premise. It sounds like a great comedy. If you want some help in the writing department, I love giving ideas. Dunno how much help I'd be though.

    If I do this in the near future it will likely be in Flash, so don't expect things to be too good.

    I Would post my crappy concept art for Ranger I did this morning, but it is currently still in my locker *Headdesk*

    I'm loving the suggestions. I may have to actually start to learn flash so that I can do this soon.

    I would love help if I decide to do this. I probably will at this point

    There was a WONDERFUL Flash H.P. Lovecraft adventure game made. You can find it on Warner Brothers Games section. It's called Arcane. I recommend it highly; it might even help you with brainstorming or ideas.

    that's my favourite!

    You need to put some classic lines in, though. Parody rights, steal them from other adventure games! I was watching the Moai Better Blues cutscene thing literally 2 minutes ago, and when sam says
    i hope there's nobody on the other side of that portal
    max goes i dont care and it made me laught for a minute.

    heh, looks like if I do the music I'll have to be Remolay or Remadin. Somehow someone beat me to Burnt Toast last year, and I've been talking about starting Burnt Toast since I was in 5th grade
