if you run it in windowed mode (turn off full screen in the options) you should be able to press "alt-printscreen" to copy a screenshot from the game to your clipboard. From there you can paste it into Photoshop, Paint, or whatever.
There are many other screenshot grabbing programs which will save your screenshot to a file instead of just to the clipboard, but I don't really know which are good.

Yeah OS X's screenshot stuff is excellent. It spoils you when you use a Mac at home then come in and have to take screenshots on a PC.
