VirtualBox 3.2.4, Sam and Max 302, SecurROM
I'm attempting to run Sam and Max 302 under the newest version of VirtualBox (host Linux, guest Win XP). This time I get a different message when I tried to start Sam and Max 302:
A required security module cannot be activated.
This program cannot be executed (3000).
It points to a web page telling me to stop softICE before securROM can be run. But this is a clean Win XP install and I can't find softICE running anywhere.
Why is securROM even in this to begin with? I am running the downloaded version. Anyone knows how to get rid of this problem?
