I would play both from TTG, and you?

Hell, why not make a Dinosaurs game and Inspector Gadget game too?

Oh yeah I could definitely see a TTG MacGyver adventure game. That'd be awesome as a matter of fact. I doubt they'd get RDA to do the voice acting though.

I was in love with MacGuyver as a kid, apparently.

I'm cool with an "MacGyver" game, but I'd certainly pass on the others.

I just had a crazy idea... How about a crossover game featuring MacGyver & Magnum P.I.?

I've never had the opportunity to watch MacGuyver, but from what I understand, it's basically "Adventure Games: The TV Series", so the point and click gameplay would make sense for it. As for whether a game should be made with the mulleted protagonist, I don't know...

As for E.T... I think that movie has been ruined as video game material forever. On the plus side, absolutely anything would be better than his original video game outing.

I would play both E.T. and MacGyver videogames from Telltale.

I'd play anything that says "Telltale Games" on it.

    "Apparently"? Didn't you know?

I'm not a huge MacGyver fan, although I did always love his name, but I think this is actually a good idea! Maybe give him a bit of a reboot (haircut) and a stylized rather than realistic look and I think it could work. (Seriously, RDA is so angular and lanky already that the man is a cartoon character waiting to happen.)

You can't remove his mullet. That's what gives him his powers.

I'm wondering how many threads there will be complaining about the direct control interface. :p

I probably knew at the time. I don't remember any of it, or even watching the show at all. My parents told me I was in love with him, I see no reason why they'd lie. He's a cool geek who builds stuff, sounds like my kind of guy.

A lot would be far better than the first outing. My other reservation would be on how would it be done, because if I'm stuck collecting parts to phone home I think anyone who has played or seen the original E.T. would have flashbacks. It'd be the equivalent of shellshock for the gaming community. All anarchy would break out. There would be rioting in the streets. Fires would ravage the lands. Revolution X type guns would fire video games at forlorn masses. The bad game apocalypse would reign the land.

Or maybe they'd make a good game. It could go either way. :D

MacGyver is like the most suited for an adventure game character ever. His show was basically How to Use Your Inventory: The TV Show.
