Played any good PS3 games recently?

So yeah, I'm thinking of getting a PS3. For the #1 priority of playing Monkey 1, 2 and Tales on a console (and also probably The Devil's Playhouse), following the recent announcement of Tales coming to PS3 and the glowing reviews about it.

So now, begs the question, what else do most of you Telltale/LucasArts gamers also like to play on PS3? Whatever the genre, whatever the game, I'll look into it and see if it's my sort of thing.

    People seem to really enjoy Little Big Planet. And there is a second one coming out.

    Uncharted 1 & 2 (my absolute favorite games on the console)
    Red Dead Redemption
    Brütal Legend
    Assassin's Creed 1 & 2
    Little Big Planet
    God of War 1, 2 & 3
    Heavy Rain

    + Blu-ray functionality

    I love my PS3!

    Well, i just bought the Orange box for £8, and am loving TF2, and would be loving Portal if i didn't already own that on PC. Fanatastic games. I have yet to play the Half-life games though.

    Reason #1 for getting a PS3 might be just Little Big Planet 2.

    Beside of this there also exists Little Big Planet, Heavy Rain, Sam&Max S3, Echochrome, Bioshock, there also will be Rage and you can watch Blu-Rays.

    Honestly i don't think you really need one - same with the other consoles - , it's more up to Little Big Planet and if you want the Blu-Ray option.

    Lol theres a ton of games i wanna play on PS3 that i feel bad about the crappy games the wii keeps releasing.

    I wanna buy a PS3 mainly to play games like:

    Red Dead Redemption
    Final Fantasy XIII
    Half Rain
    Metal Gear game
    Assassins Creed
    Fallout games (never have played em)
    Mass Effect I and II
    Borderland

    Theres very few reasons to have a Wii mainly to play zelda games, Mario bros wii and Monster Hunter Tri.

    Apart from Metal Gear and HEAVY Rain, all of those games can also be played on an X-Box 360, and several of them can also be played on a PC. You would, infact, need a PC in order to play the Original Fallout games I would believe. Don't think they've been ported yet.

    Technically the Wii gets about as many triple A first party titles as the other consoles, probably more since it's Nintendo. They just don't get the good multiplatform games, but since most gamer Wii owners also have either and X-Box or a PS3, they get the best of both worlds.

    Also Monster Hunter Tri is awesome. Are you in Europe? Bit annoying that they region locked the servers but I suppose it makes sense lag wise.

    Ok, thanks guys. So far, Little Big Planet sounds like a favourite, as does Heavy Rain. Probably check those out first if I get a PS3.

    I would have to say that Flower and the 2 Resistance games. They were really fun and well worth it.

    I don't have any games for the PS3, but my little brother has a ton. And the most fun to watch him play was Uncharted 1 and 2, those games are really good.

    I my self will be playing Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty and A Crack in Time, when ever I have completed all the PS2 ones.

    As you can see, I am a big fan of Ratchet and Clank. :)

    I loved Assassin's Creed 1 & 2, and Red Dead Redemption is awesome so far, but my favorite game of all (and I know it's not a PS3 exclusive) is Batman, Arkham Asylam. There's never been a better comic book game.
