ToMI/Sam & Max PS3 Audio

Heya all,

I don't think it is just me, but does anybody else have to turn the sound up to hear these games properly?

I have a Samsung surround sound setup, connected to the ps3 via optical output.

For all my games I have the sound set at 12/13 and its fine, but when I play Blu-Rays the sound needs to go up to 18/20. I assume it is the way the audio is encoded, or lossless, on the Blu-Ray.

But for both sam and max season 3 and ToMI I need to turn up the volume to 18/20, why is it that they are so quiet??

    Um.... not sure? I mean, the only thing I can think of is that we use 2.1 channel audio, whereas I imagine most PS3s use 5.1. Possibly something with the way your receiver is processing the 2.1?
