Free Sam and Max episode 301 coupon help

edited June 2010 in General Chat
So i just got an email with my coupon to get the first episode of the new sam and max game for free, and what i would like to know is how do i claim it, as i go to the store, buy the game, apply the coupon so that it says $0.00. Do i still have to fill in all my (shipping) details? even if it is only for the downloaded copy.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum and any help would be appreciated.

    my guess is use this:

If it does ask you for shipping info (idk, I don't remember if it does for downloads), I would say that it's either a standard part of the store's script (so it will always as you that, no matter what you buy,) or just for their records, or it always asks for billing info and the shipping info form is on the same page, or to help with customer service issues... or all of the above.

Just fill it in if it asks you. no harm none either way.

Dont think youll need shipping info if its a free episode(how did you score that? They havent given away codes for this yet i believe) so you should be fine.

Thanks for the advice, i now have the game, it seems you do have to enter your shipping address before you can download the game (which i find strange)

and i did know where to put the coupon so need to circle it, as though i am clueless.

    I didn't mean to offend.

Some people ask silly questions though, so I thought I'd cover my bases.
