MI2:SE and telltale?

edited June 2010 in General Chat
Hey there

I'm very frustrated right now as paypal's security measures activate randomly and it picked my account and is blocking my steam payments and dont know why the hell they didnt lift it since I dont have problems and i have money on my paypal account.

("I have carefully checked your PayPal account and see that the payment you have attempted to send was blocked by our statistical model. To ensure the integrity of our network, PayPal may take security measures, which may affect some accounts in good standing. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused." )

So, I dont know if i will be able to purchase again from steam in the near future, I wanted to know if telltale is going to be selling the game (monkey Island 2 SE) as it does with the first SE?.

No. Not anytime soon. There's no plans and no official word on it whatsoever.

Paypal is not 100% security proof. It's only one keylogger away from being hacked and then u loose money. I deleted Paypal due to illegal companies trying to hack away my WoW account and Guild Wars account.

I even stopped playing those games.

Monkey Island 2 is distributed by Lucasarts Games, not Telltale, or am I mistaken?

Either way, the likelihood that the game would be released in any form other than digital download seems unlikely... Besides console releases.

Distribution costs money. Money LucasArts probably isn't willing to spend right now on two remakes priced at $10 each.

Never mind, I had my problem solved, the Steam staff changed a setting for me and this time it went trough... (**Feels so happy today**)

Telltale gives the option to purchase SMI:SE under their third party games section, so it seems likely that at some point in the future, LR:SE will be available here too. But only as download.
