I'm trying to practise caricatures (as in exaggerated cartoony drawings of people), but I don't know who to draw. I thought it would be a good idea to come here and ask for volunteers :D

If you don't mind me pointing out certain odd features of your face, post a picture here and I'll draw it (or, if you've already posted one in the "what do you look like" thread, just give me permission to draw that :D)

Just remember that I'm practising so these drawings aren't going to be too great :p And also, nobody can avoid looking ugly on a caricature so don't feel too insulted ^_^

    Sure, you can draw me as much as you want. I posted pictures of me a bit everywhere, including some where you can see my face!
    Are you expecting critique of your caricatures, too? (I'm guessing not from the people portrayed as they would be biased :p)

    Haha feel free to search for posts made by me that have the word "falafels" in it. Or perhaps "picnic". I posted lots of pics in that one post.

    And sure, I'll do my best. May I suggest you link to pictures when you post your caricatures though, so people can compare it better?

    Mmh... I know they often exaggerate the nose in caricatures, but I would have given Remolay a small nose I think. And I'd have exaggerated the expression, like with the eyebrows going / \ and giving him kinda sad eyes, or something. But that all might be very subjective.

    One thing you obviously didn't notice from the picture, I have a unibrow.

    I think you kinda made me look like Roy from the IT Crowd.

    Maybe it's the headphones masking it, but you look like you have less of a unibrow than I do.

    look closer, you'll see it. It is not very much there, but it is still visible

    I didn't notice your monobrow, Remolay, but I don't think it's significant enough to have put in there anyway :p

    I might not get round to doing it tonight now though, because I've got work to do :(

    Why not. Never had a caricature made of me, it'll probably look better that I really do! There should be a photo in the 'what do you look like' thread.

    Actually, looking at the photo I put up on that thread, I could do with getting a more recent one as I've had my hair cut since then. And besides, it's a crappy mobile phone camera photo anyway. I'll put up a new photo tomorrow probably.

    I've gone through more styles than anyone else I know. The only thing I haven't done is...go bald. Yet. Or a mohawk. I just looked through a bunch of my profile pictures on Facebook, and come to think of it, none of them really do look the same. O_o

    Lol I went through a lot of styles when I was your age too. :) [oddly I always thought you were in your 30's or 40's for some reason until I clicked on your name one day.]

    edit: I've been bald once or twice, it's fun waiting for it to grow back. :D

    Nope, not an old fogey yet. Good ol nineteen. Hahaha. I'd like to see a picture of you bald. I bet you'd look like Lex Luthor. Funny enough, I felt bald the first time I had really long hair then got it cut short again!

    Ahhh I did the long hair thing in middle school :D and I think I look weird bald so I never took pictures, it was more about serving a purpose when I did it rather than for style. [I've never been in the any military either, basically couldn't afford a hair cut... :\]

    yeah i shaved it luckily for me it looks like my hair might stick around for my 30's but its definitely going gray but i do not mind that maybe it's a little conceded but i do not think it looks bad on me

    Irishmile, your caricature is done. It's kinda neater this time because I have a better pen (a sharpie, in fact). As a side effect, though, I'm... kinda dizzy.
