Puzzle 1 problem

When i join pieces, they are hidden behind the brown envelope... i managed to do the puzzle by moving the pieces around the top and bottom portion of the screen, but was very annoying has anyone else experienced anything like this?

There's a similar bug in the second puzzle, we're waiting for a fix.
