What? No Toy Mafia in Season 3?

edited July 2010 in Sam & Max
Well, only two episodes to go and I'm kind of surprised there's not even a mention of the Toy Mafia. It's a a season that has toys as a major part of the plot, so I'm kind of disappointed these guys were not even included. Anyone else feel that way? Do you think they would make an appearance? Should they?

Weren't they kind of...destroyed? At this point, I think the only surviving member is Harry Moleman, and I'm not even sure about him after The Penal Zone.

    Yeah, they kinda exploded.

A mention in a dialouge would be pretty nice though...

I'm pretty sure Chuckles didn't survive Abe Lincoln Must Die. As for Harry, do you really think he'd be forcing Mama Bosco to let him work for her and desperately hoping to win the lottery if he had the Toy Mafia to fall back on?

That plus im pretty sure harry admitted to quitting in 204 during the dating quiz.

Not to mention that Hugh Bliss probably wouldn't have let Harry continue as don after his colossal failure in Meatball.

Also, Season 3 takes place in an alternate but somewhat-like universe of the world shown in Season 1 & 2, in which The Toy Mafia Doesn't exist, nor did any members of it besides Harry actually live in it.

    Wait, what?

Harry wanted to forget it but he mite get go craze get lure haw to cheers and Rea start the Toy Mafia new York branch and the them of the toys of power

So, can we say that The Devil's Playhouse is a mafia-free video game?

The Devil's Mafia-Free Playhouse and Casino?

Lame. No self-respecting Devil's playhouse would be mafia-free. Tch. Well, at least there's still the casino ...

Chuckles definitely died in Abe Lincoln Must Die. He was in the final episode of Season 2 in hell...

Is it just me, or did anyone else imagine those last two words in a demonic voice?

The Toy Mafia aren't really worthy of coming back... Side references yes, but nothing else. They're boring, and they smell like moldy meatballs.

Actually, he is there, you just don't actually see him, look the the back of the office, to the left of the window, there's a little cubicle that says "Chuckles" on the side of it.

He does appear; when Satan is talking to Brady Culture you can see him going for coffee in the background.

Toy Mafia song is in the Stinky's jukebox. So there's a reference.

I don't get it. Why facepalm?

In 205, Sam can ask about the Toy Mafia, and it's inferred that they weren't very popular. Although I think they could return, revamped and reformed. After all, by the end of 205, several dead characters returned to life, villains included.

I think they were just invited to Sybil's wedding. Satan would be really evil to unleash Brady Culture on us again. Satan already is evil though.

What nonsense! (At the Soda Poppers) Attack Nintomster!

Now, being serious, maybe you're right. The sad part about creating many characters is that then some have to stay off the spotlight for a while to give others a chance to shine. And when one of them is killed or permanently put on a bus...

Oh, Powers That Be, Protect Girl Stinky!!!:(

Mediocre characters should stay buried. Most (if not all) of the good ones have appeared in Season 3 already. Granted, we still have the COPS, elves and Harry Moleman.
