A classic animated style 2D adventure title?

Think it'll ever happen? I mean Snoggins looks closer than most but its more like a flipbook/comic strip in its art design, plus it appears to use some cell shaded 3D models for background items.

I'd love to see something along the lines of Full Throttle/Curse of Monkey Island/Day of the Tentacle/Sam and Max Hit the Road

I'm not sure how possible it is with their engine. PA-style is fine by me though.

Sounds good, but don't you mean Scoggins? Or am I mistaken? (If so, forgive me.)

The Telltale Tool can make the games look 2D, like Strong Bad and Puzzle Agent. It's still 3D, but it looks like 2D, so it would be possible.

Wait, are you talking telltale only? Because there's still studios making 2D adventure games.

@Tom yeah I ment Scoggins, it was a typo.

@Giant I ment by Tell Tale, I know other companies still do classic 2D style.

I'd like to see a point and click adventure game with graphics like Paper Mario (without the 3D parts) and/or Odin Sphere.
