When I click the download button in my e-mail or on my order page, I just get an error message saying "500 Internal Server Error" with some weird text underneath. I've tried several times and in both Firefox and Explorer. Please help me, I want to play the 2nd episode...!

Me too! :( When is the link going to be fixed?

I see the error too. It is a Java null pointer exception. I get the error in the IE7, FireFox, and SeaMoney browsers. The error occurs at com.digitalriver.activationserver.download.DownloadServlet.handleBBYTRequest(DownloadServlet.java:973). I have the latest versions of each of the browsers, and I have the latest version of Java.

I can re-download episode 1 without any problems. It only occurs for episode 2. That means it is not a firewall or proxy server error.

Before you click the button, when you hover your mouse cursor over the button to see what link it's going to, what does the link say?

I need all of you to send me a PM (if you haven't already) with your order numbers. Some other people have had this problem too and I'm not sure what's causing it. Digital River is going to look into it for us next week, and the more order numbers I can provide them to look at, the better.

In the meantime, download the game as described here instead. You can send me your hardware fingerprint to request the activation key at the same time you send your order number.

EDIT: I didn't realize how widespread this problem is. Don't PM me. I am answering support emails right now. Request the activation key by emailing support. Thanks. :)

I am getting this same problem. Not sure if this matters or not, but I did notice when I view my downloads from the "Find My Order" page, the filename for Episode 1 is "Sam_And_Max_Culture_Shock_Setup.exe" and the filename for episode 2 is "SamAndMax_SituationComedy_Setup_offer.exe". Not sure if that 'offer' at the end means it's pointing to the wrong file or what. I would assume the offer file is like the demo, but I purchased the whole season.

Btw, the link from the email is: http://www.telltalegames.com/preorder/####?mid=########&batch=########

I blanked out the numbers in case it was specific to my purchased file.

The link as viewed from "Find my order" page is:

No, it's pointing to the right file. In fact, if it didn't say "offer", it would be wrong. :D That's how we named the installer that's being used by for season 1 customers.
