Puzzle Agent Video Problem

I changed the resolution in the menu and the screen went blank, my monitor saying "out of range". I waited for it to change back....nothing. I tried adding "-safe" to the launch command in "properties" but no joy. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling. Still same problem.

Anyone have any ideas? I've tried asking steam support but no reply as yet.

Really frustrating as I've just worked out the solution to a puzzle I was stuck on lol!

    Never mind, fixed it. Tried changing the monitor resolution in windows then loading the game. Trial and error to find the right one but eventually got it.

    Does the game need a "keep these video settings" type message which undoes any changes if you can't see it? Or is it just my system?
