SOMI: Breakout problem

I purchased "Secret of Monkey Island" game app for my iphone. I'm in the part where I need to form the ship crew. I already got Carla, and Meathook, which was pretty easy; now I have to get Otis out of jail with corrosive grog. No matter how many times I tried, the mug keeps melting before I reach Otis' cell. It's freakn frustrating:mad:!! Does anyone who played the game have any tips or secrets that can help? Thank you very much.

    You need to
    Pick up all the mugs in the SCUMM bar, and transfer the contents of the grog mug into another before it fully melts it

    What do you mean? How do I transfer the grog into another empty mug in my inventory?

    don't feel bad. even Ron Gilbert himself couldn't solve that puzzle without a walkthrough...

    It's easier in classic mode.

    Of course I don't know if you can get to classic mode on the Iphone...
