Sam and Max 302 Crashes to Desktop

Hello all,

I have been trying to play sandm 302 for about 3 weeks now but I keep getting random crashes to the desktop. There is no error or warning.

I am playing the game through steam and i am using Windows Vista Home Premium. Any and all help will be much appreciated.

    Can you give some graphical information? Is this a problem with all episodes, or just 302?

    I have the graphic level set to 9 and am using a Nvidia geforce 8600gts. First episode played fine.

    Try reinstalling. It might be because there is a missing file.

    If it's Steam, you don't have to reinstall. Just open the properties for the game and click Check Game Cache, or whatever it's named. It'll check the game and redownload any corrupt bits and pieces.
