Pyrite Pirate Parrot of Petaluma Plushie Please!

I would SO buy one of these. Especially if you could squeeze it and have it say "*Squaaak* Its me, Guybrush Threepwood, mighty pirate!"

I love the title of this threat. If you're the type of person that spits when the speak, then please don't read the title out loud, your monitor will be soaked.

Anyway, on topic, I wouldn't buy one.

I would buy one if it was made from metal. Not a plushie. Sheesh.

Remember Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood, where it's back to its original form only to be reduced to ash by the hands of DeSinge.
Remember Rise of the Pirate God, where it's now 'THEY' as there are a bunch of little bit sized Pyrite Parrots in the crossroads.
Remember not to post anything else in this forum.

If you never played the rest of the season, it's not a really wise thing to comment on something without knowing everything that's given to you.

I can't even begin to mention how irrelevant the portrayal of the Pyrite Parrot in the episodes is with a possible plushie sale of it. It's like... someone comes to you and says "I'm buying a Dumbledore action figure today" but you hit him in the face and say "but he's killed by Snape!".

...wait... it's the EXACT SAME THING. Only Monkey Island.

So you never finished Spinner Cay either? Coz the Pyrite Parrot is restored at the end of Spinner Cay.

So you're saying that it would be stupid to have a pyrite parrot plushie/figurine or an Albus Dumbledore figurine/action figure? I'm not sure I understand why. Sure Dumbledore was killed, but his death isn't all it appeared to be, especially if you've read the 7th Harry Potter book. Dumbledore is awesome and powerful and... a number of other spoilery things I can't say for people who haven't read the books and don't want me to spoil the seventh and eight movies.

That's also like saying you shouldn't have a generation 1 Optimus Prime Transformer action figure because he was killed in (the animated) Transformers: The Movie. Optimus is a great character. So he died. So what? He's still awesome.

For people to say there shouldn't be a Pyrite Parrot plushie/figurine just because it is melted/destroyed/eaten is nitpicking. It's a staple of Tales. Anybody who's anyone who's played Tales at all would recognize it. I would go so far as to say that the Pyrite Parrot is to Tales what Murray originally was to Curse. People recognize it, so why the hell not make a doll of it (whether made from cloth or metal)? I made an icon of it. It shouldn't matter that it didn't survive to see the end credits of the game.

Well I would personally pay a premium for a Dark Ninja Dave with Killer Karate Katana.

I think you got it the wrong way. It's stateofart666 who seems to think that way. Falanca actually says that you can make a plushie/figurine/toy of any character, no matter what happens to him/her/it on the book/movie/game/whatever.
