Well, right now we're just feeding our RSS into Twitter... CoTweet looks interesting though. If you'd be interested in tweeting stuff as well on our Twitter account, BoneFreak, you're welcome to. (Provided you manage to work your way into the team, of course. ;))

@TechnoGamerBG, you're welcome. I should probably follow Cultural Zest now, though

EVERYONE should follow Cultural Zest. Our soon-to-be-formed dictatorship cool-awesome-all-the-time-site-expansion-that's-totally-happening-and-not-just-being-made-up-here will be the new doctrine for the world!

Oh, wow. Seriously? I'm on it. Totally on it. It may take a while because I'm writing a book, but I'm on it.

None of that was sarcasm, actually. Deadly serious.

I seriously want to know if you mean you are writing a novel under the persona of Andrew Ryan, and if so you are my idol.

Yeah, I've been delayed like 50 times on seeing Scott Pilgrim, so I doubt I'd even see it anytime in August.

I wasn't. It could totally be generic enough to be a nom de plume, right? Whatever it is, it has to sell a fake astronomy book.

I am more scared at the fact most of the people on the internet who want to discuss Scott Pilgrim are 13 and under.
  • edited August 2010
They (the 13 and under crowd) should also totally review Kick-Ass and Cannibal Holocaust.

I don't know... we're on the Internet, so truth is subjective - no?
  • edited August 2010
The internet is just an illusion

It does depend on what you have an opinion about, of course, but I think the principle of having an opinion column would work very well! :)

no. So far we only have 3 entries, and I saw more interest at the start of the thread, so there might still be people who haven't finished. Patience!

I'm interested still, I'm just having trouble finding the right person to interview.

Its always a good idea to have another type of article up your sleeve just in case.

I'm still interested, I just have the problem of being unable to write my thing until after the deadline

Just send it in whenever you're ready. I'm not sure why Jack set a deadline in the first place... ;)

Well, there always has to be a point where we decide "Ok, it's time to go through the submissions."

Although, actually, maybe a deadline pertaining to the number of entries rather than the date would work better...

True, a deadline works best for this sort of thing.

That said though, if you have something interesting to hand in after the deadline, we'll be pleased to take a look at it and consider it for publishing! :)

Physical distance is not a problem. Monetary compensation is currently not an option, but we offer lots of love and you'll get the satisfaction of seeing your writings in (virtual) print.

It does. I've received plenty of submissions from the wind already, but they're a bit light on text.

    Today's the last day?

Dang, I just found this post. I wanted to do an article on the state of games these days.

    Irony! (considering your name..)
Anyways, you can still send an article. They just didn't start looking at the articles until now, so that they would have enough of them before making a decision. You're still free to send articles whenever you want.

    I missed the deadline? Dreadful.
