So yeah, the forum friend widget thing would be a thing people would like to see and use?
I can't really see how I would make use of it. I reckon most people here have most of the games so the fact that one of my other friends has a certain game that I don't isn't going to persuade me to buy it.
I like the 'recently played' aspect of it though, stats are good.
I could see it being pretty interesting. If I had more than one friend who bought their games here... (i'm assuming thats why Doodoo isn't listed on mine, he must be a steam-user.)
Steam Has been doing just that since September, 2003... Skynet is going sentient in 3...2...
Does this apply only to the Steam version of the games then? (And btw, you've just described one of the reasons I don't use Steam.)
If it doesn't, can I at least firewall the games to get some privacy, or does that break the DRM?
If it's true, it's pretty sad both that I need to actively firewall the games to keep what I do on my computer private, and that I have to learn about it by accident. (Is this mentioned in one of those EULA's I sometimes don't read when I have faith in the company in question doing The Right Thing?)
By the way, most games I recently purchased ask me before going online (World of Goo, Trackmania United, even StarCraft II!) and allow me to play offline if I want to. I expected only really evil publishers (EA, Ubisoft) to phone home without my explicit consent...
Attached is a picture showing my Friend viewing thing, which seems to be slightly broken in that hovering over individual blank items shows T-shirts and such as the name. Also, I know for a fact Icedhope owns more games then just the 10 or so shown.

Yes, I noticed the items that were not games last night but it was 1am and I needed food. I tweaked the query and it should only be showinig games now. Also, the list of games goes by purchases. so if it looks like the person is lacking games, make sure it's not just listing it by season and not individual episodes.

The thing in your picture doesn't even come up for me anywhere on the site.
Just look at the screenshot I posted 2 pages back.
You keep an unfeatured game for 10 hours.
And "The Devil's Playhouse" has no icon when hovering over the Telltale Nation indicator, although it does display that it's that when hovering over the empty icon, unlike when hovering over The Highway's game...
Hmmm... A bug? You see a blank box on the right side under the video player on the home page?
Exactly. I have these three boxes now (left and center usually change):
Left: Sam&Max (3 seasons, 1 price)
Center: Puzzle Agent
Right: Blank
Both in IE8 and in Chrome
The only problems I have are that The Highway's thing is STILL messed up and also I saw one of my friends owned ToMI but the icon was for Launch of the Screaming Narwhal. Not sure if that's an error or anything.
Quick question here, I'm not sure if this was apart of the update, but how long has the "Your Games" section been displaying games in order? It now lists each season and episodes one after the other in the correct order compared to how I bought them.

A few days to a week before the widget appeared.

I still don't get what you mean, I understand that my game isn't showing up, but this?
I still have the review copies of 303, 304 and Puzzle Agent and I was fraps-ing 304 a while ago, soooo...
ALSO, the Telltale Nation thing never changes. It's always "Avistew played Puzzle Agent" and "Emily also owns Sam & Max Season One" and "Emily owns the most games".
I'd like to see it changing. And not suggesting games I already own.

I always play my games offline after registering, so if even then my friends see my exact playing time, then it's time to freak out...
If only I had friends ...
That's what I was thinking.:p
everyone has it now
Also, aside from The Highway keep messing up my indicator I now got something called the "Telltale Nation" meter?
Same here, and for both reasons @_@
They have!!! It's much better now! Not all over the place like it used to be, but nice and orderly and in alphabetical order too!:D
>.> That is all.
How am I messing up your indicator?

That's the only icon that seems to be missing.
EDIT: Oh, appears that was fixed though...
So season 2 is Santa, season 3 is Skun-Ka'pe, ToMI is screaming Narwal.

?????
I'm not sure how that picture got up there either..
But as soon as I see your non-existant game I'll post it.
That's not the pic I posted... this is:
It displayed nicely like this when I posted it... dunno when it changed to the current... :?
though im pretty sure it's been fixed now
