If you download the .avi version, you need something like ConvertXtoDVD to burn it to a DVD. This particular program costs money, but it's well worth the cash. There may be other, free alternatives, but I don't know of them.
If you download one of the full DVDs, you should get either an iso file, which you just burn straight to DVD with something like IMGBurn, or a pair of folders called AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS (you sometimes won't get the AUDIO_TS folder, but don't worry if that's the case - see below for why). You need to make a custom image using something like Nero, make a Video DVD and copy the VIDEO_TS folder over to the root of the DVD you're going to burn (the AUDIO_TS folder is empty, so you don't need to copy it). Burn the DVD, and then you can watch it on your PC or a modded DVD player.
Hope that helps!
Also, more images for you all to 'enjoy'.
(Points if you know who the one on the right's supposed to be)
This one's borderline NSFW, so I'd better not actually show it. The reason? This is bodypaint. Yeah.
You can play the .avi version straight from your computer without doing anything to it (obviously.) You could also convert the .avi to burn it to DVD, but why would you do that when the DVD versions of these fan edits are already available (and higher video quality)?
You also ought to be able to play the DVD version as video_ts/audio_ts folders without any additional converting. At least, I can. In any case, I recommend using Media Player Classic to watch video files or DVDs. It's small and extremely versatile.
Disc images (such as .iso) are files that can be mounted to a "virtual" disc drive on your computer when using the right software. If you downloaded an .iso of a fan edit, and you want to run the movie straight from the .iso image, I recommend using Alcohol 52% Free Edition. With it you can "mount" disc images to a virtual (ie. fake) disc drive on your computer.
And finally, if you want to burn the the fan edit to a disc, you need good disc burning software. For this, I recommend BurnAware Free, because it's free, very easy to use and I've never had any problems with it. You can also make disc images with BurnAware if you want, but you can't use it to mount them to a drive. You still need Alcohol for that.
Truth be told, I convert most of my disc-based games to disc images and run them that way. It makes the disc data easier to keep track of.
There's actually nothing stopping you from being a fan of both Star Wars and Star Trek. I am, and you don't see me getting the crap kicked out of me by rabid fanboys. Admittedly that's probably because I'm a Dark Lord of the Sith and am capable of snapping their necks without even blinking, but meh.
If this "posting weirdly sexual star wars pictures" thing has to happen, then let me be the first to request a sexy rancor. It doesn't count if the head and face don't look like a rancor's head and face.
I like images of absurd, sexualized Star Wars-themed cosplay as much as the next guy, but I am a bit weirded out by doodo's constant shouting of things like "Oh God! Oh God! Who's my daddy!?"

LOL, It's just a social experiment, rather experience perhaps, maybe...:p
Nah, but I'm just...LOL. I'm just on a different page than I am not on. Just turning the pages and flicking through. Passes the time nicely, haha. Just flipping through!
Though to be honest it's easy, most of this page writes itself...still I'm intellectually curious what's on the page. So I stay on it for a while but I admit that eventually I must flip the page back to something else.

I just did a quick Google search for "sexy rancor," and this was the best I could come up with:
Also take note that there are two different official versions. His official complete vision and then there's the purist edition which leaves out the additional music and leaves the Ben's hut scene in its original order.
I got the regular version of Revisted, and it's awesome. For the sake of completeness however, I want to get the Purist edition but I can't find a link to a decent copy. There is a torrent of it, but atm there are only 4 leechers and no seeders.
Does anyone know of a link to find the Purist version on rapidshare or megaupload?
How many Star Wars shirts do you guys have?
So far that I've counted I only have 7! I'm going to wear one every day just for the hell of it and see if I can go for weeks just wearing Star Wars shirts. But I don't want to do Laundry every week so I might need to buy more.
What do you guys think and how many Star Wars shirts do you have?

Off-topic much? This thread is about naked rancors, dude.
(I looked, and I could only find rapidshare links for the regular revisited version)

I only have one, and it isn't really a "Star Wars" shirt... It's the Family Guy Blue Harvest's shirt
This one , not that one

I wasn't aware there was a purist edition. I do notice, however, that you've already posted a message on the fanedit's page, so I suppose someone there will be able to help you out
No less off-topic than you were with the Star Trek images.
Do you mean "no more off-topic"?
Because if you mean he's more off-topic than he was with Star Trek, that's a perfectly valid point of view but you've phrased it in a weird way.

I think about 2000 of your posts exist entirely for pointing out stupid little flaws.

I mean he's no more or less off the topic than he was with Star Trek images, they're at least fairly equal.
Or any of the images that didn't involve Luke building a new light saber.
You're one to talk.
And anyway, no, because at least most of the other images had the right franchise, which made it closer relative to the topic than any piece of post content not from the same franchise.
I think about 2000 of your posts exist entirely for pointing out stupid little flaws.
That only leaves 2,000 or so dedicated to sharing too much/hitting on guys, which I don't think is nearly enough.
Plus, I was just trying to understand what he meant. In this instance, I wasn't telling him "you're saying it wrong" but more "what exactly did you mean? I'm confused".
I mean he's no more or less off the topic than he was with Star Trek images, they're at least fairly equal.
Thanks! Yeah, in this case, "no more" and "no less" are actually equivalent. I am surprised you didn't say "no more or less" though. That would have used more words.
Although Star Trek at least is Sci-fi, with aliens and all, and has "Star" in the title. I think it's closer to Star Wars than Dracula is.
But yeah, we're far from Luke building his lightsaber in a deleted scene.

It's a file that will download stuff via several different sources at once, you need a special downloader program to use it.
Wampa > Slave Leia
I always wanted to make a wampa costume, but she wears it better.

Here's another NSFW one that's of C3PO. If C3PO was a chick. With no clothes on.
Here's one that's not hot, but is incredibly cute. I dare you not to go 'Aww...'.
...and finally, just for fun, here's Midna.
