what is this frisbee doing on my screen? Sam and Max PC

This thing showed up in beyond of the alley of the dolls for awhile and I somehow got rid of it for good. Now I am playing ep5 and it has returned. What is it and how do I stop it?

    you just click and drag the mouse than it will come of the screen

    It's actully a visual conrtrol anolg. You know, like the ones on the PS3 or gamecube remote controller. It is pretty obnoxious now that you mention it...
