You have to add each individual episode [unless you tell Steam to run the chapter select menu installed from a DVD version (although atm Season 3's DVD isn't out yet.)]

    Anyways, here's how:

    You can't do that.

Assuming you're talking about the way you add games you bought on Steam to your games list, no, you can't, because you didn't buy the games on Steam. You bought them from Telltale. :) Which is a good thing because you can get a fancy season-end DVD for the price of shipping. Can't do that on Steam.

I was wondering about this too and wasn't able to find anything online. I've imported the game into steam so it will launch it easily, but I don't have steam support for things such as achievements and the like (does the PC version even have achievements?) I recently built a PC after my PS3 broke, and I'm quite new to the PC gaming scene. Learning lots at an exponential rate! Thanks!

Most PC games don't have achievements, because it's not a closed, regulated platform like game consoles have come to be. The ones that do are either marketed under the Games for Windows marque, or utilize Steamworks. To date, none of Telltale's games offered via Steam utilize Steamworks, although Poker Night will have such support.

You only get steam support for achievements etc. if you buy the game from the steam store.

Adding a game to steam is just like adding a short cut so you can have all your games in one place.

Sam and Max doesn't have achievements though, not many games do as there is no global tracking system like on PSN/Live.

I used to have a few non-Steam games added as shortcuts, but it got on my nerves after a while. I never used them, since that would require launching steam just to click on a shortcut I could just as easily have on the desktop, so eventually I just got rid of them.
