Anyone ever watch the Star Wars movies in Japanese

I have a Japanese DVD player now and I'm thinking about buying the set in Japanese but at the same time I'm thinking about other choices.

I haven't watched Star Wars in Japanese, but I think it has the potential to be extremely funny.

I'm thinking of the interesting English to Japanese translation mistakes such as how "Dead men tell no tales" got turned into "There is no mouth on a dead man." :D

LOL, no appreciation for voice acting. So emotional, sensitive, and well done. I got to experience it, plus as a bonus most Japanese DVD and Blu Ray have the choice of English and Japanese Subs as well as English and Japanese vocals.

    So...it's basically awesome.

Watching that was pretty weird... sort of like listening to a Star Wars anime. But, seemed a better translation than I was expecting.

It is the official site of Star Wars. You can search here the movie in Japanese.

So do you know Japanese? Also, are the sound effects the same or have they been reproduced? They were some of the best parts of star wars in my opinion.

I don't really know Japanese but I have played through video games in Japanese for the challenge. My reasons for enjoying it are a bit obscure. I love the narrative that they tell with the emotion and spirit behind their work. Star Wars, I speak Japanese, :p but usually I don't. I'm kidding of course.

It's just another abstract from of expression to me as creators who create ,as artists who create, as those who create song.

There's spirit behind it all. I know what they're saying more or less in this context and I enjoy it.

That site has always been such a cluster fuck. But I love it anyways.
