S&M Chariot of Dogs white screens (minor spoiler I guess)

I have a point in the game where I white screen crash. When I have the ship's AI set to abusive, and give Little Sam the portable AI, the game white screens and the error report box comes up. I actually gave him the AI before when I thought it was abusive, but was the PC attitude and it worked fine, but when it is set to the correct version for the puzzle I can't move past.

I'm running it off Steam and using Windows XP.

Thanks, there were 2 bum files when it checked. Sadly it ate my game save but hopefully it fixed it. Just hope it read my car decal file
