Puzzle Agent - No speech no fonts

I got Puzzle Agent through the Adventure Bundle, but there is a bug which prevents me from playing it.

There is absolutely no font and speech Output in the whole game.

I'm playing on an english Win7 x64.

Here are my System specifications:

MS Windows 7 64-bit

CPU
Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo T8300 @ 2.40GHz
Penryn 45nm Technology

RAM
4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 332MHz


Graphics
Generic PnP Monitor on NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
2048MB GeForce 8600M GT

Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

    I guess this is the official "no text or voice in puzzle agent" thread.

    Same problem here. No voice, no text.

    Os : Win7 64 bits

    CPU : AMD Athlon II x3 435 processor 2.90ghz

    Ram : 2go

    Graphics : Ati radeon HD 5700

    If I were you I would try running it in Windows XP compatability mode.

    Pretty good idea, just gave it a shot.

    No luck though. Still no voice or text.

    It was the first thing I tried.

    Thanks anyway :)

    Problem Solved:
    Control Panel -> Regions -> Format

    there set the Value to English(US)
