Puzzle Agent Demo for Mac - Can't get past opening screen

I have emailed TTG twice about this issue, and got the automatic response from TTG twice.
Then deathly silence.
Nothing.
Zero. Nada. Nischtoo.
:confused:
Would someone please help me with getting this demo running so I can see if I want to BUY the game?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated ... much, much more appreciated than silence.

    It might be an instance of this issue. Try disconnecting from the Internet before you start the launcher.
