It's probably a graphics card issue. Please post a dxdiag log.

    dxdiag
Windows XP: Go to your start menu and click on run. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter
Windows Vista / 7: Press the windows key on your keyboard or click on the start menu. Type in "dxdiag" and hit enter.

Now click on the button that says "save all information".
It will prompt you to save a file. Save it where you can find it.

Then zip the file and attach it to a reply in this Thread.

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4800 SE
    Driver Date/Size: 10/22/2006 11:22:00, 4527488 bytes

It is as i assumed. It is one of those old graphics cards, that don't work well with these games. Problems with that series were discussed here.
Even the latest drivers, which you have, are 4 years old...

You best option is to play on a different, more powerful, computer.

Otherwise, if you can get your hands on a different, not too old, graphics card compatible with your mainboard, you might be able to get it to run properly, at least on low graphics quality levels. Your chances are best with graphics chips released after 2005.
    Memory: 512MB RAM

A little more memory should improve your overall system performance significantly, especially while running multiple applications.
    Description: Realtek AC97 Audio
    Date and Size: 5/19/2006 14:44:52, 3965056 bytes

You can update your sound drivers though.
