Christmas Shopping

The Christmas shopping season is nearing and I wanted to remind everyone that it you are ordering from outside of the U.S. and you want to receive your order in time for Christmas you need to order ASAP.

Due to customs delays orders can take up to six weeks to get you. :(

    EDIT: Wait, it's probably like the TF2 Trading thread, where more people could see it. Nevermind.

    It is. It's also here, since many of you guys don't spend much time in the support forums.

    Well, damn. Uh, are there gonna be holiday sales later? I want to buy some stuff from here in time for Xmas, but I also would prefer to buy it cheaper considering the shipping will increase the cost a bit .___.

    Also, does the 6 week estimate also apply to countries right next to you AKA Mexico?

    I wouldn't say it's 'FREE' shipping. It's actually 25 dollars off of shipping, so if someone's shipping goes over that, it's not free.

    FFFFFFFFFF you just had to do this deal when my mother is not happy at all with my grades (understatement) and won't let me use the credit card didn't you?

    *sigh* I hope the "it's for Christmas" excuse works.

    No one has mentioned anything about holiday sales to me. But I am always the last to know.

    I don't know about customs there but I know Canadian customs is a nightmare sometimes and can delay deliveries 3-4 weeks. So I am going to say yes.

    Oh well, how does the BTTF deal work anyway? Since I don't see any difference in the shipping screen I assume it has to do with the private forum, right?

    This just reminded me that I still haven't picked up a GPS Sat Nav thingy for my da yet.

    No doubt i'll be explaining how to use it to him til next Christmas :p

    Oh, and last question for now, do you think the Devil's Playhouse DVD is going to be ready in time for Christmas (for us)? I know it's supposed to be shipping to everyone else soon, but it has been delayed twice already...

    I don't know where he's located but if he's in the U.S. and you get him a Garmin they have decent local support, I used to work there.

    The day after Christmas last year I explained how to power GPSs on to at least 100 people.

    I don't know anything about their new products but people used to call us even if they owned a different brand due to lack of support.

    Yes we are given a code to use. And no we are not allowed to distribute the code or we get banned for 30 days.

    I can't honestly answer this right now. Once I have an update about that DVD I will post a thread about it here and in support.

    We're in N. Ireland but I think it's the same story here, Garmin and Tom-Tom are top dog it seems, i'll prolly go Garmin though just cos others I know have one and they've no problems.

    It's posted in the forum right? As long as I can pre-order before the week ends I should be able to use it too.

    Yep. Apperently, prints don't work with the code.

    did my shopping here last week (in fact thats all the shopping i have done apart from homestar runner dvds)

    The Animated Sam and Max DVD set is looking pretty fine right about now...
