Poker Night Is Unresponsive

Telltale,
EVERY time I start up Poker Night At The Inventory, be it the Steam or Telltale version, I see the Telltale logo form, and then the game is just unresponsive. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my computer, everything really. I need help, or else basically you've just sold me a game that does zip. Nada. Zilch. NOTHING.
Swift assistance would be appreciated.

    Well, I know the memory is 4.00GB, not sure about the graphics card (it can run Devil's Playhouse at graphics quality 5 MAX without it going weird)

    Windows Vista

    I have a similar problem; my system can run monkey island at quality 4, nothing more or it'll get slow. And when I try to launch Poker Night, it's barely responsive and it makes my computer reboot (too many graphics-ness?). I'd edit the config file by hand but it isn't exactly plain-text.
