So, I totally jumped on the "50% off plus free shipping for orders over 50$" deal, especially awesome since I'm living in Japan (the cheapest shipping option for my schwag was 20$ US, the most expensive was around 60$ Yikes!).

So, for 60$ (well, $60.51, but who's counting?) I managed to snag:

    To be fair I am a huge fan of homestarrunner and I didnt get the reference. What toon was this from.

    Puzzle Agent is part of the $4.99 "Indie Story Pack" on steam for the next 23 and a half hours or so. A few other excellent titles in that one, including Gish and And Yet It Moves, which as far as I'm concerned are some pretty excellent indie standouts.

    These are some good deals, but I kind of have everything I want from Telltale right now. Until new merch or JP comes up, they could give me 100% off and I still won't bite.

    I finally got Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition - considering before it was up on TTG it was only available on Xbox Live (I don't have an Xbox), Steam (I never wanted to install Steam, and only did when Portal was free) or Direct2Drive (not available outside the US).

    With 50% off, I figured $5 was a pretty decent price for a game I might never get around to playing for a long time...

    I pretty much already own everything from Telltale's store, the few items I don't have I don't really want.

    It seems that ordering what would usually be > $50 but comes to less due to 50% off will still get you the free shipping for spending more than $50 :O

    Well I preordered Back to the Future a few weeks ago so I had all the games I needed from Telltale (was missing Puzzle Agent).

    Poster sets are included with free shipping. They're smaller, and probably don't need to be shipped in a tube.

    I'm kicking myself for not noticing the "free delivery WORLDWIDE" bit before I ordered. I bought TOMI and Bone, but I would have also got the Sam & Max DVD & book and any bonus discs I was eligible for had I realised. I was rushing slightly because it was the first day and I wanted to get my order in before the offer ended.

    So Day 1 was like, two or three days of 50% off everything*.

    Day 2's deal was 50% of everything*.

    And now here we are on Day 3, with the exciting reveal of....50 percent off of everything*.

    Hmmm.. debating on getting SBCG4AP with this deal or wait for a better one, as I am only half way through S&M and haven't started ToMI yet lol. Collecting these games is becoming addicting. :D

    The games i'll buy next will be:

    Torchlight II, maybe taking a look at Dungeon Siege III as well, a couple of rather unknown but still superb Indiegames, finally Rage, everything which Araminta Design comes up with next, Diablo III, maybe rebuying a few games for the OS X version of the iTunes store (if you need to), Half Life 3, Elite 4.

    As for adventures, if there show up some quality adventures which i really like, then i'll also buy them with pleasure. What i won't do is buying adventures which aren't convincing anymore regardless of the companies track record.

    Can someone tell me, can you get the disc of the game in the same order as buying it? I am trying to get Sam and Max 3 with free shipping. But I can't seem to order the disc. So I thought, I'll put this order in, then order the disc afterwards. But I didn't realise free shipping was over $50, so then I'd pay shipping for the disc? My brain is rather confused...

    It's better than 50% off for someone that doesn't have Tales of Monkey Island, considering $9 is less than 50% off $35. I expect that we'll continue to see individual item sales that are better than 50% off that particular item.

    If you were buying *just* ToMI as digital downloads for a friend, this is slightly cheaper than the 50% everything (it would have been 17$ with the previous deal). I was thinking about getting ToMI for a friend for Hanukkah, and now I may actually do it.

    I bought:

    On Friday: The Sam N Max complete season, the voodoo cards, the Tales Art Portfolio and today Tales of Monkey for a friend.

    IVe sent a couple of emails, but enlight me though. Can i have the dvd's with the extras for Sam N Max (the 3 seasons) if i pay the shipping?

    Still the 50% off of everything was the best deal. Since it's more profitable to aim for the 50 dollars and get free shipping. And with 50% off you can get more items with 50 dollars.

    For people like us who got everything already anyway, I doubt a deal passes that's better than the 50% off.
