Help me identify this melody/song!

This is a melody that has been stuck in my head for 10 years now.
I first heard it as a demo on a Keyboard that you could pick.
I always annoyed my keyboard teacher by playing it all the time during class but I was so addicted to the tune.
By then I always figured it was just an exclusive made tune for the Keyboard.
But then a year later I was 11 or 12 and I heard the exact same tune in an episode of Bobby's World. It was used in a fantasy of Bobby that mimicked the bridge scene in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

At that point I established the song was an existing song and probably from an old adventure movie.
Here is the melody as I can recall it:

Who will free me? :D

I whistled this tune to a friend and he said it's the theme of Dallas.
I checked it out but it's not.

It sort of sounds like parts of the Jurassic Park theme to me, but I don't think that's right.

I know I've heard it, whatever it is. The tune sounds familiar.

It sounded like Wii sports for a minute. I know it isnt that but now I am confused.

The only thing I can tell you guys is that it sounded very John William-ishy.
But I can't confirm if it's something made by him.

I also remember the demo being called on the keyboard:

    XX - Film Score

XX stands for a random number. Don't know which one it was. I think I am going to try a different approach. I am going to look up the model and then see if I can find the demo.

    Well this explains it.

About 13 years ago I was getting violin lessons, Where I was being taught there were keyboards all over the place. If this was around then I probably ended up triggering it, I liked to mess with keyboards.

Sorry I cant tell you the name of the track (I don't know it)
But I know exactly how you feel, I spent 7 years trying to figure out what a certain song was called I kept hearing in random places and on the TV (Green onions, we all know that song)

I also have a (different and probably older) yamaha keyboard. I don't think, it has this song, but if i remember correctly the manual contained the sheets for the demo songs. Maybe you can try to find the Manual and look it up? If it is something well known, then they should have at least included a reference in the manual.

EDIT: I just had another Idea: Have you tried asking the manufacturer, if they can tell you, what song that is? They must know the name and origin of that song.
