Sam and max dvd wont play the games

Yeah I finaly got the dvd to work and everything is fine. Except for the fact that whenever I try to load a game it will say that the game is not installed.
I used the steam version when I played the games before thanks to the tf2 item preorder, so I dont know if that was the problem, but do I have to redownload ALL of the episodes.
EDIT:If it means anything, I checked the files and I see the games data and the dvds data, so is there something I could do there?

    Install them using the disc, then it'll work. Steam saves to a different path then the TTG version does.

    So where in the disk can I install them and how.
    EDIT:Ok I found the steam files and did all that, but it didnt work, would just installing the games from telltale work?
    EDIT2:Ok I just installed the telltale version of the Penal Zone and that fixed the first epsiode, so Ill just do that with the rest. Thanks anyway.
