Although it's just a short flash game, I think you should check it out. It reminded me of oldschool adventures, and it has Cartoon Network characters ;) Perhaps it will be inspiring for someone's own game project.

Thank you, I could not find this game when I looked for it a month ago.

This is definitely an older game. I remember a bunch of these mini adventure games being put out by Cartoon Network that were totally badass.

I went through the trouble of getting shockwave to work under linux just to play that game a while ago.

What about the one, with all the different Cartoon Network characters on a beach, and they give you kind of like, adventure quests? I loved that game. I believe there was a resort(and possibly the word Resort in the name) and there was a giant tennis-playing mech(I believe Dexter built it).

I'm pretty sure that was even called something like Cartoon Network Resort

    EDIT: Cartoon Cartoon Summer Resort

I personally wish someone created a Cartoon Network-based classic adventure with inventory, GUI, etc. For example, say, Kids Next Door would've been an awesome theme for a Lucas-styled game.
