Pre-release technical question about BttF save files

I plan to start playing on my desktop computer, which is a mac. However I might not have finished the game (well, the first episode) before leaving for the holidays, in which case I'll download the windows version to play on my laptop.
My question is: Will it be possible to copy my save files from the mac version to the PC and continue from where I left off?

    This isn't really officially supported, and I've never tried it, but there's a decent chance it will work. No promises though.
