They can't activate it unless they bought it.

I thought they could only play the demo if they dont have a serial code?

No, they have to have a key. Don't think so little of Telltale's copy protection. My download is extremely slow--well under 200 kb/s.

DAMMIT, It's downloading and I have to go to bed or I won't get up in time for work :(
I was looking forward to playing this all day :(

25% downloaded. Can't wait to play it! ^^

They still need the serial number. ;)

Oh yeah true, there's a code.

    Damn, well all good then.
  • edited December 2010

  • edited December 2010
    Edit: Double post.
  • edited December 2010

No luck with that. Pacific office hours are past the European bed time.

    Aaahhh!
It's not in my games link but I downloaded it. But when I tried to login, it says I don't own the game... even though I did buy it...

I e-mailed support, hopefully they can help me fast...

Erm - installed and clicked on play and it's downloading something else.... Was this download just a front end downloader to the games?
  • edited December 2010
Downloading now. Looking forward to it, going to play for a bit, or until I get so tired I won't enjoy it much.
  • edited December 2010
Sorry, but it doesn't look like you own Back to the Future: The Game.

It's an outrage! I've pre-ordered it on october 25th.

I am wondering the same thing, TOMI just launched when I would click play, this is a bit aggravating.

The download was downing itself again -to reinstall over what was already installed - confused, possibly the first bug is with the install and running of the game, unless TT hasn't done something their end to allow gameplay.... Will check up in the morning...

I have no link in my games page. Others have this problem as well.

I pre-ordered on the same very day and I think I'll face the same problem when my DL is finished. I'm very positive now that there's been a slight cock up on behalf of TTG. Considering the hype and everything on this project it's a major MAJOR f*** up. I never could have thought it would come to this...

    Oh yeah.. time to play!
  • edited December 2010
Oh dear, all these problems, and we haven't even played the game yet.

If it's not out on Steam then it's not offically out!

One of the problems is... well, not being able to play it at all.

Not working on my PC, with Win7 and meeting all the requirements.

Installed fine, but crashes on start...

Well, I haven't even gotten mine downloaded yet to see if it's going to have the re-download issue that some people seem to be having.

    This is heavy
  • edited December 2010
Nope, mine downloaded from the link where I was supposed to download it from and it runs and no extra downloading.

Edit - Um, never mind, it's redownloading something from the play screen.

    What a great introduction!!!

It shouldn't... It didn't for me...
  • edited December 2010
It's doing that to me too.

TOOTHLESS GIBBON - I owe you my SOUL for that link! Suprisingly, TTG has not removed your post. Get it while its HOT!

I managed to bypass it, for some reason, you have to run it as the admin in order for it not to attempt to redownload anything.
