Trouble Activating Sam & Max volume 3

I purchased the complete season of Sam and Max, and I had no trouble at all downloading 1 and 2. I don't know what's going on now.

When I try to download the program, I make it past the login with the order number and password fine. I get to the download page, and it runs the program. then it gives me the button to download Sam & Max volume 3 and then all I see is a window that says:

Saving As: (with the location its going to save the file to)
File Size: (blank)
Downloaded: (blank)
Transfer Rate: (blank)

And then at the bottom there's buttons for Open Folder, Pause and Cancel. All but the cancel button are disabled.

So I came to the boards trying to find out what to do.

I saw the alternate download page and went to download there. It downloaded fine. When I clicked to tell it that I already owned it and entered the number and the password, it said it was retrieving the info, and then nothing would happen. it would just freeze on that until finally I'd have to ctrl-alt-del to get out of it. After several minutes of it claiming it was retrieving.

Like I said, I never had ANY problem getting episodes 1 and 2. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have a virus protection or firewall program turned on that could be interfering? The other day I tried to download a Sam & Max episode onto a coworker's computer that had McAfee installed. It did exactly what you described, with the download box coming up and nothing else happening, because McAfee was asking me if it was okay for it to connect to the internet. I didn't see the McAfee box pop up (it was off to the side) so it just looked like the download wasn't working.

Since you've downloaded from the alternate link, now all you need is an activation key. (Activating with the order # and password does not work for Season 1 customers.) Just click the Activation Support link (next to "I've already purchased this") and follow the instructions.
